Warranty and Consumer Guarantees
Bolt manufacturer warranty
P1 Fitness Supply Pty Ltd is your Australian point of contact for equipment purchased from us. Bolt's current published manufacturer warranty periods are summarised below. Product-specific terms and the written warranty provided with your purchase apply; existing purchases retain the promises made when sold.
- Steel frames of machines, power racks and benches: machine lifetime.
- Pulleys, bearings, bushings, belts, pins and cables: one year.
- Upholstery: 90 days for commercial use; one year for residential customers.
- Covered polyurethane/rubber dumbbells, cast-iron plates and larger bumper plates: one year. The US policy gives 10 lb and 15 lb bumper plates three months.
- Standard barbells: one year. Specialty barbells: three years.
- Wall balls: 180 days.
The international kilogram chrome products must have their specific manufacturer coverage confirmed; do not assume the US rubber or urethane warranty describes a different construction.
Coverage and care
The manufacturer warranty covers original-purchaser manufacturing and material defects under intended use. It excludes ordinary wear, cosmetic damage and damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, inadequate maintenance, corrosion or unauthorised modification. Residential-only equipment must not be used commercially. These limitations concern the additional manufacturer warranty and do not remove statutory rights.
How to report an issue
Email sales@p1fitness.com.au with your order number, model, serial number if available, description of the problem and supporting photos or video. Stop using unsafe equipment. We will assess the issue and confirm the appropriate repair, replacement or other remedy. Do not arrange return freight until we have agreed the inspection or collection process.
Written claims may also be sent to P1 Fitness Supply Pty Ltd, 63 Cambourne Rd, Tomerong NSW 2540, Australia. For bulky equipment, contact us about assessment or collection rather than attempting an unsafe return. Reasonable costs associated with a confirmed consumer guarantee failure will be handled as required by law.
Your Australian consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights are additional to the manufacturer's warranty and can continue beyond its stated periods. We do not require you to deal only with an overseas manufacturer. See our returns policy for assessment and return arrangements.
